SUCCESS
These seven letters have been so much more than just that. Not only do we crave success, but we often find ourselves chasing it – willing to do whatever it takes to get a glimpse of it.
But is it wrong for success to be your end goal? Because even though that ideally is, many look at it terribly.
Apart from working towards it, many often question if they would ever be successful. Do you have to put in extra work, giving up a life of leisure and luxury? Or is it only achievable if you create a business of your own?
It may seem strange if we say this, but it doesn’t take much to be successful. Trust us. All it takes are a few steps –
I Have A Dream
Who doesn’t love dreaming big?
It is a constant reminder of the fact that you’re living in a reality you don’t enjoy. Not only are dreams often looked at terribly, but many are discouraged from even crafting something meaningful that brings them hope and joy.
And it’s not wrong to hope for more, but it’s crucial to be able to dream big. Because while everyone says it’s awful, you won’t ever take a chance if you couldn’t dream big.
On My Mind
Having a dream and acting on it are two different things. So what should you do?
Thinking about it obsessively, and visualizing it will eventually turn it into a goal. Once you turn it into something tangible, you have to find a way to move towards turning this goal into a reality.
What you shouldn’t do is treat it like a New Year resolution. Why? It would never work out because you will keep at it, but it wouldn’t be for too long. Having a goal and working through it should be your biggest priority.
Eye On The Prize
It’s understandable why many give up on their dreams with so much ease – it’s just a dream, you can walk away.
But that’s where you’re wrong. If you start treating it like something that’s so effortlessly discardable, then it’s reduced to just that – a dream.
However, if you work towards making your dream a reality, regardless of how things seem to be, you will be able to achieve it. All you have to do is push yourself enough to make an effort and take action.
You Might Trip And Fall
It is human to err, but many don’t enjoy that particular aspect.
It’s no surprise that you fail and make mistakes. And that shouldn’t discourage you. While it is easy for us to say this, it’s a lot better to fail at something than to prosper without having understood anything.
If you don’t let your mistakes get the best of you. What you should do instead, is anticipate and analyze your mistakes. If you allow your failure to bring you down, then success would be nothing but forbidden fruit.
Dust Yourself Off
Failing at a consistent rate isn’t easy on anyone, especially if you’re giving it your all. But that is why you need to be able to grow a thicker skin because it is typical to make mistakes.
However, if you can pick yourself up after every single mistake, then it won’t be too long before you can move mountains, figuratively.
Keep Trying
We know this looks like a step-by-step tutorial, but it isn’t just that. It may look easy, and it may seem like you might get it right the first time. But what happens when you don’t? Having to repeat something over and over isn’t a bad sign, it just means that you’re taking a lot more time than someone else usually would.
But that doesn’t mean that you’re terrible at this, or that it’s a competition. It just means that your path is slightly longer than the rest. And you might have to go through each of these multiple times. It might even be a hundred before you can complete each of these.
But whenever you do, it helps attain more information about yourself and your path to success.
Your Destination Has Arrived
Regardless of how long you take to reach it, this is the goal you’ve been approaching. And coming to this point has purely helped you change and grow as a person.
And this won’t only benefit you, but it also helps with bringing yourself to achieve this dream, this goal that you thought of all that while ago.
While many might say that success picks who it visits, it’s not just sheer luck that helps achieve that goal. It comes down to how determined you as an individual are. However, it doesn’t matter what step you’re stuck on, as long as you keep pushing, you’re fine.
What it comes down to is how well you manage, analyze, and apply yourself in a situation. Repetition and failure shouldn’t bother you, because after you pick yourself up, you push harder to reach your end goal.
