The Two Types Of People For Your Business And How To Find Them?

Today, I would urge you to take a moment to carefully read this ironic but straightforward truth –   “Digital Marketing although industry of marketing and promotion, it is pursued by individuals with an average experience of how to market or promote.” 95% of marketers or business owners are with absolutely no deep internet marketing experience.

It is one of the reasons why the majority of marketers offer or teach you the “shotgun” approach of marketing, like buying likes for the Facebook page, sending bulk email and WhatsApp messages. They know anyone can do that and it doesn’t even require any marketing skills.

But let me tell you, there are smarter ways to start or expand your business on the internet, and this is what “YOU, BRAND. Business Model” is all about.

To begin with, you have to define the target market primarily. It will consist of people who are already consuming what you’re promoting.

Here I would like to share with you the initial phase of my first business. I had just quit my full-time job and started my career as an entrepreneur.

One beautiful day, a self-proclaimed brilliant idea struck me. I had purchased a list of 50,000 business contacts from someone, I started calling, messaging and emailing those contacts. And guess what? After two months, I had no response. This left me totally confused.

Then, what I figured out was simple but an eye-opener. No matter how incredible your product is, you can’t market it to someone who doesn’t incline to consume it.

You can’t sell products or services to someone who isn’t looking for one, even if you think it is perfect or can make lots of money or advantages.

The marketing fact is, you should always sell only those products or services people want to buy and to the people who intend to buy them. And I know you would think there is no trade secret in this. But more of than not, most of the business marketers get it wrong.

I learned my lesson. Its time you also know it…

A intends to buy is someone who filled out a survey and announced: “I would like to buy this product.” And this is no different from me saying, “I would like to play professional football.” But that doesn’t mean I have the skillset and ability actually to play professional football.

So, here we are searching for individuals who already play the game.

Let’s take nutrition-based business as an example.

People in that business think their target market would consist of people who have issues related to health. But that is not enough. We have to be more specific. How about people who have health concerns and are already spending money on health products. This group should be your ACTUAL target market. There is a vast difference between people who just inquire about your offer and those who are already spending money on similar products.

I personally don’t prefer to buy business leads anymore and in case I do, they wouldn’t be my target for my business. I would market a front-end retail information product like “YOU, BRAND. Business Model” and me as a leader. This will result in instant cash-flow to pay for the lead costs. Besides, it saves me much valuable time as it helps me to instantly differentiate between people who are serious about building business and who are not.

To find people in your target categories is not difficult today, thanks to the Internet.

For example, in my private coaching program, we teach how to start marketing and lead generation campaigns utilizing articles, search engine placement, online press-releases and pay-per-click methods.

My personal favorite is pay-per-click as it allows me to show my advertisements only to the people who are really looking for what I’m promoting. This is called “target marketing.”

To sum up, if you are serious about getting in front of your potential buyers, the best way is to advertise through “YOU, BRAND. Business Model” Otherwise, you will always be haunted by a fear of getting broke.

We will carry out an in-depth discussion on this topic later. Let’s shift our attention for a minute and talk about the psychology of prospects. Have you ever given thought about why people say no to you and your offers?

To know the actual reasons and ways to prevent it, you will have to stick around for tomorrow’s email series number 4.
